Linear Low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) is a linear polymer which is produced by short-chain alpha-olefins such as hexane, octane and butane through the copolymerization process. The interesting thing about LLDPE linear style polyethylene is that it inherits LDPE flexibility and HDPE strength.

LLDPE has higher flexibility and strength than the light polyethylene (LDPE). This has led to the increased use of low density polyethylene grades in many industries for the production of plastic materials.
